Trussardi 1911 Spring 2011 Collection

This collection absolutely blew me away! The looks that Milan Vukmirovic creates under this label are absolutely breath-taking! The combinations of looks that were created are as diverse as they are innovative. Trussardi's latest collection has it all! Killer, signature piece jackets... Check! Nice, totesy bags that are both practical and stylish... Check! Hair that would make even Mcdreamy jealous... CHECK!

This look easily wins my vote for favourite. I've never--and I mean NEVER--been a fan of tiger print, or leopard print, or cow print, or any other kind of animal whatever print. Gross! This jacket, however... Magical! Maybe it's the colour? I dunno. But it has such amazing POP! It's ability to work is definitely complimented by the simplicity of the rest of the outfit. Here's a fantastic example of how to wear a signature piece. If an article of clothing has that POP to it, keep the rest simple!

Here's another great signature piece look. Those shoes... POP! Again, I'm totally against this print... Everywhere but on this guy's feet, that is. Oh, and here's the hair that I was talking about!. I would gladly sit through a few rounds of a baby's cholic crying to be able to throw my hair back like that! When people surf and talk about 'killer waves', they've been spending a sunny afternoon/morning on this guys up-do!

Despite my utmost adoration for the previous looks, I doubt I'd ever have the attitude to try pulling them off. This outfit, however, I would do! It's simple, chic, and looks damn good!! Vukmirovic made full use of the Summer Rolls with this collection, complete with the rolling of this shirt's sleeves. The baginess of the shirt gives the overall look a lot more of a summery feel too!

While most of the collection was a smashing success, there were a few hiccups. This look, being one of them. Here's an example of where an animal print belongs less on a piece of clothing, and more so on a piece of Grandma's hand-me-down furniture that wasn't even good enough for your first apartment in the big city. Puke!
