The Best Of: Tommy Ton

For those of you who don't know, Tommy Ton is the photoblogger behind the photoblog Jak & Jil. He's also known for his work with Style.com as their on the street fashion-eye... This year, Tommy hit the streets during the European fashion weeks and pulled through with some truly stellar looks, worn by some of Europe's finest. Here's a few of my favourites!

It seems that this season, chunky, beady bracelets are huge. And the more, the better! I'm not one for watches, but I love the look on the left. It looks like a necklace that's being worn as a bracelet. I know that I'll be taking one from this guy's books... This is great because you only need one article of jewelry, and it can look like you're wearing multiple pieces. For those of us who are lazy, it's a no-brainer. If you want to go for a more personalized look, it may be useful to combine multiple pieces of jewelry, like the guy in the middle has done. This is a great way to accent multiple pieces of clothing as well! Try to match a few of the bracelets with the other pieces that you're wearing (ie. one or a few for your top and one or a few for your bottoms). And last, but not least... The guy on the right has done an excellent job of keeping it simple and light, yet still having a nice bit of flare.

These two looks do an excellent job of showing the various ways to pull off some summer rolls. And as can be seen by the picture on the left, for those of you with tattoos, rolling your sleeves is a great way to show off a tattoo that's normally hidden. I'm totally in love with the pattern of this guy's shirt as well! It reminds me of grandma's wallpaper... But in a good way! Then there's the guy on the right. I don't think I would have liked the hat one its own, but it's great with this outfit!

Uhmmmm.... Can you say Stewardess? Okay, I know that 'stewardess' is so politically incorrect for this day and age, but so is wearing a bandana around your neck! While normally I would cringe at the thought, I have to say that this guy manages to pull it off. And he does so masterfully. I love that he's wearing it with a suit as well. Beautiful!

This suit is divine! The colour is absolutely marvelous, and I would wear it confidently anywhere in the summer. The belt that he's wearing really brings the whole thing together.

I simply had to save my favourite look for last. Absolutely everything about this look is amazing! He's sporting some nice summer rolls, which is showing off even more of his killer tattoo. Seriously! That thing looks like it has a life of its own. And those shoes... Maybe I'm starting to actually like animal print. It sure appeals to me here. I'm going to say these shoes are either McQueen's or hugely McQueen-inspired! Let's face it... What other designer is bold enough to try on this look (Okay, so maybe Comme des Garcons may try it, but they would fail.... Just like they do with everything else). McQueen, you will be forever missed. I needs to get me these shoes!

Ohhhhh Ryan Seacrest...

I really don't know what to say about Gaycrest (I know it's sooooo not original, but it's soooooo fitting!) anymore. He just gets more and more outlandish as time goes by. I was never a fan of American Idol, so I never got to fully enjoy the 'witty' banter between Cowell and Seacrest... Which I have always been thankful for. But now that Blohan is about to be thrown into the clinker, it might be time to bring some more crazy into my life be reliving old AI moments! Simon... Ryan... And PAULA!!! Oh Paula. With her glazed over eyes, 10 day old bed head, and her nose caked in residual good-stuff. She's just so lady-like! And marvelous. And splendid. And...

.... So anyways, according to TMZ, Seacrest spent a grandtotal of 51K on a dinner date with a Miss Julianne Hough.... That's one expensive beard!!! And apparently, this all took place at the Billionaire Club. Come on, Ryan! You spend more on your facial products each day. And let's not even get started on your therapist bills... We know that Simon is really, really mean to you, but sometimes you just need to let things go! In any event, at least Julianne went home hungry. And Gaycrest got to fall asleep soundly, thinking that he fooled everyone, once and for all. He thought this, of course, while falling asleep with Simon inside... Err, I mean beside him.

New Gaga!!!

The lovely and oh-so-talented Lady shared a new song on Today this morning. I love her speech. I love her song. And I LOVE her crazy glasses.... Oh, and wait for the end to see her making love to the piano. She's all sorts of crazy, but in a way that only makes me love her more!

Blohan's lawyer resigned??

TMZ announced today that Shawn Chapman Holley, who has been Lindsay's lawyer for longer than anyone should have to, has resigned. Homegirl is seriously going to be in need of some R&R... Or she's going to be in a booze-induced-coma for the next few months. Let's face it! Anyone who has to put up with LiLo's stench for that long is going to develop a harsh addiction to the Sweet Nectar of... Youth? Lindsay has enough booze seeping out of her pores every second to keep the entire country of Mexico happy for at least one month.... Maybe two! And don't get me started on how long her other 'hobbies' could keep all of Surrey happy for.

This photo... By far my favourite snapshot from the trial. Just look at Holley. She can barely contain herself. The blast of alcy-air emanating from Lindsay's mouth is giving her harsh cravings. I guarantee that after the trial, Holley pounded back a bottle of gin in the middle of Hollywood Boulevard, stumbled into some random's hotel room to some oh-so-nicely placed rails which she definitely DEFINITELY didn't know were there OR enjoy, then fell on top of an effing cactus because some 'paps ambushed her'. Yes, Ms. Holley absolutely needs some much-deserved rest. Hell! Girl should be ready for retirement.

We'll miss you Shawn. Or at least I will! I wish I could say the same for Blohan. Girl can't remember anything... Her middle name, to not drink while wearing her bejewelled SCRAM bracelet, or that she hasn't had a paying job since Mean Girls.... Even though the little voices inside her head tell her otherwise!

Trussardi 1911 Spring 2011 Collection

This collection absolutely blew me away! The looks that Milan Vukmirovic creates under this label are absolutely breath-taking! The combinations of looks that were created are as diverse as they are innovative. Trussardi's latest collection has it all! Killer, signature piece jackets... Check! Nice, totesy bags that are both practical and stylish... Check! Hair that would make even Mcdreamy jealous... CHECK!

This look easily wins my vote for favourite. I've never--and I mean NEVER--been a fan of tiger print, or leopard print, or cow print, or any other kind of animal whatever print. Gross! This jacket, however... Magical! Maybe it's the colour? I dunno. But it has such amazing POP! It's ability to work is definitely complimented by the simplicity of the rest of the outfit. Here's a fantastic example of how to wear a signature piece. If an article of clothing has that POP to it, keep the rest simple!

Here's another great signature piece look. Those shoes... POP! Again, I'm totally against this print... Everywhere but on this guy's feet, that is. Oh, and here's the hair that I was talking about!. I would gladly sit through a few rounds of a baby's cholic crying to be able to throw my hair back like that! When people surf and talk about 'killer waves', they've been spending a sunny afternoon/morning on this guys up-do!

Despite my utmost adoration for the previous looks, I doubt I'd ever have the attitude to try pulling them off. This outfit, however, I would do! It's simple, chic, and looks damn good!! Vukmirovic made full use of the Summer Rolls with this collection, complete with the rolling of this shirt's sleeves. The baginess of the shirt gives the overall look a lot more of a summery feel too!

While most of the collection was a smashing success, there were a few hiccups. This look, being one of them. Here's an example of where an animal print belongs less on a piece of clothing, and more so on a piece of Grandma's hand-me-down furniture that wasn't even good enough for your first apartment in the big city. Puke!

Really?... REALLY!?

Everytime I watch this I find something else to laugh endlessly over. I hope Lindsay never falls off the crazy train... What will I read to lull me to sleep if that happens??

Blohan, seriously... WHY are you crying? You were just granted 90 days of pussy-on-pussy playtime. No more pseudo-lesbian action for you. You can be gay! Gay all the way! We all know that she's going to find the first bull-dyke that she can, and pull some Kate Winslet in Titanic, 'I'll never let go' crap! In 90 days, we're probably going to be dragging Lindsay from the prison, away from her latest addiction to the womanly juices.

And let's take a moment to mention my FAVOURITE part! 'I have to provide for myself and I have to work' (about 32 seconds in). By 'provide' for herself, she means she's run out of icing sugar (think what you will) for her cake (nose)... And by 'work', she means prostitution. It's just so nice of those paying-gents to work around her schedule!

HELLOOOOOO Summer!

POP vomit + gays = California Gays

So Katy Perry is definitely not the most talented performer out there right now, but she's good in my books! I mean, come on... The amount of amazing POP glitter that that girl is capable of excrementing is... A lot! Katy, I love thee. And to the guuuurls that put this little segment together. You have my eternal thanks!

Wild, wild West coast! These are the gays I love the most! I especially love the showdown part... Sorry, Alicia (and Jay-Z). You've got nothing on our Katy!
