Pringle of Scotland... Keep Me Warm!

I stepped out onto my patio this morning and for the first time this year, I shivered.  Winter is swiftly approaching, which means it's time to bundle up.  Over-sized coats are a must as they allow you to throw on multiple layers.  This not only adds extra warmth, but also extra dimension to your look.  When going for this layered look, don't forget to neglect your body parts south of your hips.  Pringle of Scotland shows us how to  lather on the layers like pros!

It can be difficult when wearing pieces of clothing that have opposing patterns.  If it looks off, it probably is.  I can not count the number of times that I have stared at clothing combinations in the mirror, trying to figure out if I'm wearing something hot, or something that is a hot mess.  Pringle manages to pull it off here, but barely.

Keep your colours warmer.  Browns, greys, dark navy, black...  A little fur never hurt anyone either.  Let's keep it faux though!  We want to keep ourselves warm without impacting those creatures less capable than us.

I am loving me some turtlenecks this season.  The chunkier, the better!  Note how this one almost looks like a sweater and a scarf.  If you're going for the turtleneck look, remember to make sure that more of your layers are removeable.  No one wants to walk into work and burst into sweat!

My favourite look of the collection!  A chunky scarf.  A hood.  An over-sized, overly-chunky, cableknit sweater.  Oh!  And one look that I have been wearing day in and day out this season.  Chunky, knitted socks that have pants tucked in and complimented with a nice pair of boots.  Try out this look.  You might be surprised with how ruggedly sexy you look!
