Gobel Gobel

I looooooves me some good shirt/tie combinations.  Especially ones that stray from the ordinary.  Marlon Gobel hasn't been designing his own for that long.  Only about a year, in fact.  It's great to see a new designer still struggling through, finding their way.  Especially when there isn't much of a struggle! Gobel makes use of a full colour palate as well as a pattern palate.  Finding a great tie to match a great shirt can be a chore, more often than not.  The trick is to compliment.  Compliment colours!

With Halloween quickly approaching, orange is back in style.  While the look to the left may be too busy for everyday wear, the colour coordination is right on point.  I love the Gingham look to the right!  Whenever you can, find a DIY bowtie.  Sure the clip-on/tie-arounds are effortless, but a hand-tied bow tie is timeless!

The complimentary colours in this look are right on point.  If you can, take one shade--blue in this case--and bring different shades to the entire look.  It will help make your look more purposeful and less happenstance!
